I got home early this morning from my mopeding adventure in Indiana. It was great, you can read all about the moped madness here.
On the way there, I was sitting on the bus in London, Ontario. We had just been allowed a 10 minute break in the trip and were waiting for the new travellers to load on to the bus. I looked at the bus parked next to us. It was completely empty and there were no staff people in sight. Now this is creepy. Sitting out in the hot sun in the open and otherwise empty cargo space beneath the bus were two boxes addressed to a hospital that said PERISHABLE HUMAN BLOOD. It kind of creeped me out. I hope I never need a blood transfusion.
On a funnier note, I was exploring South Bend, Indiana one day, and I came accross this sticker on a the back of a street sign. I don’t know how well you can see it, but it says DRUNK DRIVERS FOR BUSH CHENEY. I find this pretty funny.
I was staying in Elkhart, Indiana, and downtown they have this little riverwalk and these creepy statues. They’re of a fireman, a cop and a little girl. I was really amazed by the fireman though, he was so realistic.
That’s it for now. I had a great time, a nice relaxing little break from Toronto, and I got to ride some really nice mopeds. I’m still dreading going back to work, but it was wonderful to get a little break like that in.
