School Days

I just got off the phone with the admissions people at Centennial College. They are unbelievably nice and very helpful. They seem genuinely interested in my qualifications and in helping me get into this program. Apparently with my work experience, all of the pre-requisite education can be waived and I should be able to get in without a full degree. That’s great, since I don’t have one! I just have to get the EI people on the ball to pay for it! They do not seem helpful at all. My brother has offered to help me out financially in regards to my tuition but even with that, I would need the EI people to continue paying me so that I could afford to stay in school. When I went to college at 18 years old, I had to drop out to work and pay my rent. That is the last thing I want to happen this time. I’m feeling a little more optimistic about the situation though, so here’s to hoping it all works out.

Well, I liked watching Rollergirls on TV. Other than that, I don’t have much of a frame of reference.

    Canadian. Roller derby.
