Man, it was so nice outside today and although I had a bunch of stuff to do I went for a nice long moped ride. I rode for an hour down to Lake Ontario and the Liberty Grand building. Lots of great photo opportunities there.



It was fantastic. I passed these burly looking bikers and thought they were all going to make fun of me putt-putting by on my moped, but they all smiled and saluted me. Brilliant!



Some parts of Toronto are great. I don’t understand why they rip down old buildings for condos all the time. It’s a real shame that so many people would rather live in a shoebox in the sky than a beautiful old Victorian house. A real home, with no hallways to the front door. But then again, I suppose it frees up the increasingly harder to find apartments in houses for those of us who need to feel like we live in a home.
