I think the new Molson Canadian ad is fairly stupid. Actually, I think it’s very stupid. However, I do find it funny that one of the lines in it is “They care about marmalade … and roller derby.”
Michael Specter of the New York Times was on the Colbert Report tonight. I thought the conversation was really interesting; partly because I’m interested in Russian politics and partly because I didn’t know the extent of the “suicidal” journalist problem. I find all these murders extremely unsettling. I’m glad he said he doesn’t sleep in the same place twice in a row, because I’m sure Putin loves him extra after tonight’s show.
Reading week is going well, although I spent the afternoon at school today working on a project anyway. My only complaint is that it’s going too fast. I’ve been busy almost every day and tomorrow I’m heading out of town. I’ll be back just in time to work Friday and then I’m booked up solidly until school starts again on Monday. Somewhere in there I have to find the time to study for my upcoming Media Relations test and do some writing. It’s all good though. I’m having trouble believing how quickly this semester is going. I’ll be out of school before I know it and then hopefully somebody wonderful will hire me!
On a semi-school related note, all the student tickets for the Mesh Conference have been sold. I did not get one in time. A few of us are trying to volunteer so that we can go. I really hope it works out; I was looking forward to it.
And now………….the weird and sometimes wonderful world we live in!
Poor Borat. He is such a victim.
I hope Naomi Campbell’s maid is allowed to hit her while she performs her community service.
Serbian vampires? Sound extreme? Well, hell, I don’t want him coming back either.
This is actually not funny at all. Who forces a toddler to smoke pot? Idiots.
When dared to break into the Mary Tyler Moore house, you should stay awake.
hah! Molson’s been my beer of choice for quite some time now. Molson Ice, that is. I still like Heiniken better, but It’s so expensive.
