Started working out at the gym today. It went really well. I’ve got a great workout partner and the gym is super relaxed and comfortable. I think I may have hurt my foot though. As anyone who will read this knows, I injured my foot and ankle really badly last year and it’s feeling pretty dore right now. I think the exercise will be good for it in the long run though. I need to be stronger for roller derby anyway, my ankle will have to be in better shape very, very soon. It’s funny though, I broke my ankle but it’s my foot that gets sore. Anyway, I’m really excited about this gym thing (as I sit here smoking a cigarette), I felt great after working out today. I’ll probably be a little sore tomorrow but that’s only to be expected.
Don’t over due it.
