So tonight, Carol Pope is playing at Ciao Edie, and I have to work. This in itself is kind of a nightmare, because although I like Carol Pope and don’t mind seeing her play, Ciao Edie is a really, really, really small space and it’s going to be a madhouse. There are going to be far too many people showing up to get into the show, we’re going to have a crazy lineup and it’s going to be insanely busy inside. I’m not looking forward to it at all. The other thing that makes it way worse is that last night the plumbing in both bars went and when I left to go home at 5 o’clock this morning, Ciao Edie was under 2 inches of water. SO…………I have to be at work in an hour, we shall see how everything goes.

On a plus side, I got some really cute shoes today! 2 pairs. And a chess set where all the pieces are shot glasses. I think I’m going to have a drunken chess party some time in the near future.
